Vancouver, British Columbia, November 29th, 2013. Candente Copper Corp. (TSX:DNT, BVL:DNT, US:CCOXF) ("Candente Copper" and/or the "Company ) is pleased to announce that Mr. Michael Thicke has joined the Company's Board of Directors and Mr. Cameron Dong has been appointed the Company's CFO.

Michael Thicke has 30 years of global exploration experience for a variety of commodities and expertise exploring for porphyry copper systems. He has extensive experience in porphyry exploration throughout South America with Rio Algom (now BHP Billiton) and he was a member of the team that discovered the large scale Spence porphyry copper deposit. Mr. Thicke and his fellow team members were awarded the prestigious Prospector of the Year Award by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada in 1998. The Spence deposit commenced production in 2006.

More recently, Mr. Thicke was a senior member of BHP Billiton's Global Porphyry Exploration group, leading teams in the exploration for and evaluation of porphyry copper deposits worldwide.

In addition to acting as director, Mr. Thicke will also act as VP Exploration for the Company.

Mr. G. Cameron Dong is a Chartered Accountant and currently a partner in the Vancouver accounting firm DeVisser Gray LLP. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree with honours in 1998 from the University of British Columbia and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001. Mr. Dong has extensive experience working with publically listed entities, particularly in the resource sector. He has had numerous clients with operations in both North and South America, providing them with professional services in corporate accounting, audit, tax and finance.

Mr. Dong succeeds Mr. Anthony Pitirri, who has served as Chief Financial Officer of Candente Copper since August 2012. Candente Copper would like to thank Mr. Pitirri for his contributions to the Company and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.
