Position: CEO, Director & Chair
Joanne (Joey) C. Freeze is CEO and co-founder of Candente Copper Corp. Since entering the mineral exploration business in 1979, Ms. Freeze has managed exploration programs and evaluated projects for both junior and major international mining companies such as Queenstake Resources Ltd., Arequipa Resources Ltd., Mountain Province Mining Inc., Placer Dome Inc., Dia Met Minerals Corp., Hughes/ Lang Group and Utah Mines Ltd. (BHP).
Ms. Freeze lived and worked in Peru from 1994 to 1997 where she carried out both project generation work and property evaluations for Canadian and Peruvian companies. As a result of her experience in Peru, a partnership was formed with Peruvian geologist Ing. Fredy Huanqui (co-discoverer of the Pierina gold mine) and a new mineral exploration company was born. Candente Resource Corp. was established in 1997, which operated privately until going public on May 15, 2000. Since then Candente Resource Corp. has spun-out various assets to form two other companies, Candente Gold Corp. and Cobriza Metals Inc.. All three companies are listed on the TSX and the Candente companies are co-listed on the Lima stock exchange. Ms. Freeze is CEO of all three companies and President of Candente Gold Corp.
Ms. Freeze obtained a B.A. in Geography from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 and a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of British Columbia in 1981. She is a Fellow Member of the Geological Association of Canada and is registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, Canada.

| | | Sean I. Waller, P. Eng.
Position: President and Director
Mr. Waller is a registered Professional Engineer with 30 years of International experience in mining project management, evaluation, design and operation, with a specific focus on large scale copper projects and gold projects. Prior to joining Candente he was with AMEC Americas Limited Mining Division ("AMEC") in Vancouver where he held the positions of Vice President of Global Business Development and Senior Project Manager. While at AMEC Mr. Waller managed the feasibility study for Nevsun's Bisha gold/copper mine in Eritrea and the front end engineering for Inmet's Cobre de Panama project in Panama.
Prior to AMEC, Mr. Waller worked with SNC-Lavalin's Mining Division in management and senior technical roles. Mr. Waller also previously worked for Freeport-McMoran at its Grasberg copper operation in Indonesia. Mr. Waller is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum ("CIM") where he has served on the CIM National Executive Council, and is a past Vice President of District 6 (British Columbia and Yukon).
Mr. Waller has a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and a Masters Degree in Mineral Process Engineering from The Montana School of Mines in Montana.

| | | Anthony Pitirri, C.A.
Position: Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Pitirri, CFO of Candente Copper since August 2012, has extensive experience in the mining and renewable energy sectors, particularly in the financing and development of mining and energy projects in Latin America and Africa. His expertise also extends to international tax structuring, corporate and project financing, public company reporting, the design and implementation of project and financial controls, and the development and auditing of IT systems for natural resource companies.
Mr. Pitirri holds and has held senior management positions with CuCo Resources Limited, Ram Power Corp., Polaris Geothermal Inc., and Polaris Energy Nicaragua S.A. Mr. Pitirri has also held a management position at BDO Dunwoody LLP, providing accounting and advisory services to public companies in the natural resource sectors.
Mr. Pitirri received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2000, and has been a member of the Institute of the Chartered Accounts of Canada since 2004.

| | | John P. Foulkes, B.Sc. (Geol), B.Ed.
Position: Vice President, Corporate Development
Mr. Foulkes has over 15 years of experience managing Corporate Development and Investor Relations programs for Canadian and US public companies.
From 2003 through 2008 he was the Manager of Corporate Development for Platinum Group Metals Ltd. (PTM:TSX), where he helped raise over C$40 million and grow the company from an early stage exploration company into one of South Africa's most promising potential platinum producers. Mr. Foulkes was also the Manager of Corporate Development and actively involved in the Investor Relations programs of MAG Silver (MAG:TSX) and West Timmins Mining (now Lakeshore Gold (LSG:TSX)) during his tenure with this group.
Prior to his corporate activities, Mr. Foulkes had a notable seven-year career as an exploration geologist, including leading the exploration teams that discovered the Jericho and Gahcho Kué diamond mines in the Canadian Arctic. He holds Bachelor degrees in Geology and Education from the University of British Columbia.

Position: Corporate Secretary
Lola joined Candente as Executive Assistant when the Company made the transition from a private corporation to a public company in May of 2000. She has been the Corporate Secretary, Treasurer and Officer of the Company since July 2002. Prior to joining Candente Copper, she held the position of Executive Assistant with Manhattan Minerals Corp. from 1994 until 1998. Being a native Peruvian, Lola's fluency in the language and business culture of the region is an extraordinary asset.
